Welcomed with lots of lovely welcome treats - croissants, jam, slippers etc. A warm, cosy and beautiful cottage offering pure solitude & luxury. Set in a lovely wooded area with surrounding fields and easy walk up to the outstanding moors and tors. We were frequently accompanied by Tess the owners dog who we were sad to say bye bye too. Owners lovely & friendly and left us in peace to enjoy the peace, but there if we needed then. Family came to stay in the other two cottages which were equally outstanding. The best! I’m sure we will all be back.

I would highly recommend this cottage. It's perfectly situated for walks on Dartmoor. The cottage itself is beautiful and very cosy and comfy. The outside areas and garden was great as we brought our dog on holiday as well.

One of the most comfortable, well equipped and warm cottages we've ever stayed in. In a fantastic position - so many walks from the front door. Lots of very good house and local information and maps provided. Masha, Luke, Nicholas and Tess couldn't have made us more welcome. Thank you!

Wow! Our stay here exceeded expectations. The level of finish and attention to detail throughout the property was faultless (like the floor level stair lights) and it was sparklingly clean. I usually take showers but I made a point of enjoying bath and using the toiletries, as it was all so well done. I found everything I needed to cook while we were there. The sofas and beds were very comfortable and the linen soft and immaculate. After a stressful year, the deep quiet of Dartmoor was rejuvenating. Even my world weary teenagers were impressed.

What a lovely cottage and in a beautiful setting. All comforts carefully considered, modern but very comfortable and very clean. Also a file full of well researched walks, places to go, restaurants etc. Had a wonderful, relaxed stay inspite of showery weather. Have stayed in many cottages but non as nice and well presented as this. We will return.

We had a fantastic stay at Dittisham cottage. The cottage is self was very clean and nicely decorated, with everything we needed. The surroundings are beautiful, with some great views, the pictures don't do it justice! The location is also great, you are on Dartmoor and there are some amazing walks starting from the front door. It is also a short drive to amenities such as pubs, shops and a bakery.

Stayed for the first time in Sept 2020 and would absolutely recommend Dittisham. Spotlessly clean, beautifully fitted out, lovely quiet location, great information pack which was pitched just right, nicely private outside space. We've stayed in a lot of cottages and this one definitely stands out for all the right reasons. Well done, Luke & Masha - the thought and care you've put into your holiday cottage is much appreciated.

Great location and the cottage was to a very good standard and specification. The owner Luke very kindly provided a stair gate as we had a 1 year old with us. The grounds of the farm are beautiful, and there are some handy footpaths near the property, as well as being a short drive to some amazing parts of the moor.

Dittisham What a beautiful place! We’ve stayed at many Classic Cottages properties over the years and this has to be the best. The barn conversion accommodation has been very sympathetically done to retain all the old features yet bringing it up to a very high modern standard. All the appliances, furniture, fixtures, fittings and kitchen ware are immaculate and the cleaner deserves a medal for cleanliness. Nice touch of wine, fruit, milk, hot croissants and jam as a welcome (in fact we were a little early and the lovely owner brought the hot croissants to us as we were unpacking]. If you love walking, peace and quiet and somewhere off the beaten track you’ll fall in love with this place as we did. Oh and Tess the owner’s dog is a darling too. We had terrible weather but it didn’t spoil our stay in any way. The local pub The Walkhampton Inn is well within walking distance and although it doesn’t look great from the outside the owners, selection of wine/beer/cider and food were all very good. Sad to leave but we hope to come back next year.

An idyllic, peaceful location, with Dartmoor Park literally on the doorstep. The enclosed fields surrounding the property were great for our dog. The cottage has everything you need, is extremely comfortable and finished to an extremely good standard. From the welcoming croissants and coffee, to local information and walks provided, we couldn't have asked for anything more.

Unser Cottage war uns ein richtiges "Zuhause" in dem wir uns vom ersten Tag sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Die Flasche Rotwein und die leckeren Croissants ( nach einer langen Anreise ) zum Empfang haben sicherlich dazu beigetragen. Die Ausstattung des Cottages ist sehr hochwertig, geschmackvoll und gemütlich, wäre es mein Haus würde ich nichts anders machen. Das Dartmoor direkt ums Eck haben wir viele Ausflüge gleich von der Farm aus gemacht. Stundenlange Spaziergänge mit unserem Hund durchs Dartmoor waren genau das was wir uns gewünscht haben.Wir haben tolle Ausflüge ans Meer, an die Küste in Cornwall und Devon, gemacht. Luke u Masha sind ganz tolle Gastgeber.Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We had a lovely first family holiday in this beautiful cottage with our 4 month old and dog. Although close to the owners and other properties on the site, the cottage still felt nice and secluded with its own garden space and lovely views out. The cottage was done to a really high quality so our stay felt quite luxurious. We loved the guest book put together by the owners with lots of helpful info in it from local walks to recommended shops, pubs and activities - it made planning our days so easy! Plus there were reassuring details in there such as the nearest vets. All in all we had an amazing stay making great memories so thanks very much!

we had an excellent stay and enjoyed our time. We were met with great hospitality, a very clean house very stylishy decorated, and fresh croissants. The cottage feels just like home, furnished to high quality (beddings, kitchen appliances an electrical equipments).

Wonderfully peaceful well equipped cottage in a beautiful rural location. Thank you for the lovely flowers, cheese, milk, fruit and cookies on arrival Luke & Masha which were enjoyed by all! We had an amazing May half term holiday with trips out in the sunshine to National Trust properties = Parke (Home Farm Cafe is a must for lunch there!), Lydford Gorge and Buckland Abbey, amazing War Horse walk across Dartmoor to Meavy and around the Burrator Reservoir and highly recommend a trip to the Dartmoor Bakery in Yelverton and pub called The Dartmoor Inn - superb steak sandwiches and fish n chips! We hope to return one day soon to this wonderful spot of tranquility.

This holiday cottage is pure luxury - the pictures don't do it justice - it is roomier than I imagined. The cottage was more than a home from home. The owners are warm friendly and welcoming. They provided a packed fruit bowl , red wine and artisan cheeses. There was even warm home cooked fresh bread awaiting us. We stayed over christmas and there was a christmas tree and fairy lights arranged for us. We didn't want for anything and had a truly marvellous stay. Location is stunning and I highly recommend a stay there.

Location close to villages and Tavistock for all the visitor may need but also the ability to walk direct from the property out onto Dartmoor. A superb luxurious property in a delightful location. A great deal of thought provided by the owners when planning the facilities including internal stylish fixtures, fittings and décor . Warm friendly welcome. Absolutely endorse earlier guestbook reviews and look forward to returning next year.

We had a short-break in Autumn half-term. This is a lovely, comfortable house and the owners made us feel very welcome. The house is well-equipped for a sunny day or for staying in. It was great to walk out of the door and up onto the edge of Dartmoor, walking along the path of the disused quarry railway and admiring the view. We enjoyed trips to Tavistock, Princetown, Lydford Gorge and (on our way home) to Castle Drogo.

The owners created a beautiful, quiet setting where every cottage has it's own private terrace/garden. They were also very friendly and helpful. The cottage is lovely furnished and very comfortable. We've had a great stay and would certainly recommend this cottage to others.

Great proximity to Tavistock. The owners were lovely and really went over and above. On arrival we had artisan cheese, wine, home made cookies, duck eggs from the farm and beautiful fresh flowers. The cottage is in a wonderful, secluded spot with breathtaking scenery and fabulous walks. The new interior was utterly charming (and super clean!). Our favourite cottage stay in years. We loved the gorgeous farm dog too.

Absolute luxury. Have had many holidays with Classic, but this particular location and owners were exceptional. Luke and Masha have done a fantastic job at creating beautiful interiors and ensuring everything you require is to hand in order for you to enjoy your holiday. Hope to return for another break at Dittisham later in the year.
